Phuket-Soi Eric

Phuket First night

Since it was our first night in Phuket, we headed straight to where the action is. This area is known as Patong Beach. We knew most of the action was going to take place after dark, but we figured we see if there was anything to get into early in the day.

Turns out there wasn’t much to do. The bar owners and staffs were cleaning and getting ready for the night. We walked around a bit and I ended up meeting a couple of Thai girls while we were out. Not a bad way to start in Phuket.
 

Pattaya Cont.

After the show, I went back into Peppermint. I just couldn’t stay away. I ended up meeting a hottie named Zoy. She was one of the coolest girls I met in Asia and we had a really good time.

As much as we hated the thought of leaving this paradise of beautiful Thai girls, it was time to pack up and head for Phuket.

Day 4-Boat trip to Ko Larn and Ko Phai

We all woke up relatively early, including the girls, and had breakfast before heading to the boat. AC returned just in time. We left from the beach and went directly to Ko Larn first.

After our Soi 6 adventures, we decided to hit walking street again. This time we checked out Electric Blue and then Peppermint which we had heard was one of the best go-gos in Pattaya. Just near Peppermint, there was a Thai boxing match going on and we watched briefly. We also saw several Thai girls enroute.

We loved Peppermint, and apparently so did everyone else in Pattaya as it was packed. There were cute Thai girls everywhere. There was a bartender at the bar closest to the door that was awesome. She was very pretty with some really nice sweater meat. There was a ton of energy in Peppermint, so it was a lot of fun. One of the best parts was buying ping pong balls. Each ball was worth 50 baht and girls would go nuts screaming and diving for the ping pong balls.

There was also an area in the back that had 3 or 4 girls in what looked like a big fish bowl. The top of the bowl was open, so customers could throw ping pong balls over inside. We believe thats part of the reason guys liked this go-go so much was that the girls were not supposed to be topless. After breakfast at the Dynasty Inn, where the food is pretty good, we made arrangements for a boat for the following day. Pattaya is nice, but the beach here is not as nice as the small islands off its coast or the beaches in Phuket, which are incredible. We planned to visit Ko Larn and Ko Phai (pronounced pi) and were really looking forward to it. You will find at least a few dozen girls and perhaps more during prime time. Most of the girls have lighter skin here. If you want to go right at 1:00, all of the girls will be there as it is required. You can sit and drink with girl to get a feel for what she is like and if you will hit it off. Once you find a girl you like, she will take you to room with bed and giant tub. She will place you in bubble bath and will scrub your ass clean. Next, she will place you on an air mattress and cover you with soapy water. Then she uses her body to apply suds. Sabailand is located next to Central Pattaya Plaza/Big C, in a white building. It is very classy, with tables facing the fish bow, where you will find girls of all shapes and sizes but no one below a 7.

Pattaya-Walking Street

After dinner, we decided to head back to the hotel to get ready for night 2. We were planning to check out Walking Street, which is closed to traffic in the evenings, thus the name. This place is always packed with people and has a lot of energy. There are dozens of go-go’s and bars and the talent fluctuates, so you have to check them all (damn I know you hate that). We hit several go-go’s tonight, including Happy a Go-Go and Living Dolls.

At the end of Walking Street is a large club called Tony’s, which is where there are a bunch of freelance girls. We recommend checking this place out a couple of nights as talent can vary. One thing we don’t like about the place is that the servers try to sit you down and it can be challenging to meet girls because of the awkward set-up. It’s also very loud, but if you find a girl, it can be fun. Note that the place doesn’t get started until late. Most girls will go for 1,000 baht short time and 1,500 long time.

On our way to Tony’s, I made eye contact with a cutie named “Cat” from Top 10 Bar. We flirted and chatted for a while before I barfined her and took her back to my hotel room.

Exploring Pattaya by Jeep

We got up the next day, grabbed a bite to eat at the Dynasty (located at 55 Soi 13) and I decided that I needed a digital camera. We headed to Royal Garden Plaza (located on Pattaya Beach Rd between Soi 13/2 and 13/3), which was very upscale and had tons of nice, higher end shops. I was impressed with the quality of this mall, especially not knowing that Thailand was so developed.

We took a baht bus down to the mall, which is the only way to travel in Pattaya. Baht buses are pick-up truck like vehicles with bench seating in the back. You jump on the back and ring the bell when you want to get off and you pay the driver 10 baht. Once at the mall, I went with a Sony Cybershot, which I was quite happy with.

After the mall, we decided to rent a Jeep, thinking it would be perfect for a Pattaya Beer Bar Tour. There are literally hundreds of bars and it’s impossible to see all of them. We love the party atmosphere of Pattaya. Once we got the jeep, we started at the top of Pattaya Beach Rd and zig zagged our way up and down the Sois going from north to south. This was great as girls were screaming out, and chasing us. A few of them even jumped in the jeep for a block or two. Pattaya is definitely good for the ego. If you want to feel like a rock star, just walk down any street.

By the time we arrived at Soi 7, we were pretty famished, so we decided to eat at a Mexican spot called Tequila Reef (Soi 7, just east of Pattaya Beach Rd on the north side of the street). The food was pretty tasty and included BBQ ribs, chicken, and burgers.
